Sick

All of my friend are staying in hostel and I am the only one who stay at Cyberia. Yesterday my friend, Siau Boon told me that hostel's pantry do not have water services.

I ask her to buy the mineral water from restaurant because nowadays the weather is terrible and we do need to drink a lot water to protect ourselves from sickness.

But the answer she told me is NO NEED. She said she did not drink water for 3 days but she still feel good. "Huh? Won't you get sick because of did not take much water?"

Of course again, she told me that she would not sick because she still feel good. Unfortunately, she told me that she feel had sort throat now. I told her because she did not take much water, so she is sick.

Causes and Effect Happened

Causes: did not take much water
Effect: fall into sick

Drink more water my friend, we gonna take care ourselves because we are all alone here.

Stop Smoking

My friend, Ming start smoking when he was in form 5. All of his friend asked him do not be a smoker because smoking will causes lung cancer. His best friend, Lee try to help him and try to talk to him about this.

Lee:"Ming, you gonna stop smoking. It is not good for your health and it might causes you lung cancer."
Ming:"Why should I believe to the words of a non-smoker? You totally don't understand how I am enjoy when I am smoking."

Ming used to Ad Hominem Circumstantial Fallacy to attacks Lee's motive which just want him to stop smoking. He try to dismiss this argument by attacking Lee who presumably accept that argument because it addresses the circumstantial of Lee.

"Dream" come true

My secondary friend, Kim Kiat is a high self confident person and he always told me that:

"If you think you can, You can." or "Nothing is impossible"

He said that if you feel that you are so confident of doing something, impossible will become possible, because nothing is impossible!

I know that it is all just his Cognitive Thinking - Self Fulfilling Prophecy. He got an expectation about the occurrence of the thing in fact. He do believe what he think, might be truth and he can handle it when he believe he can.

Just want to let him know, if good to have confident to something else; but not over confident because it will just make your life go worst.

Study Please

My brothers are in Form 5 this year and he gonna take his S.P.M. to move forward his studies. But maybe he is 'too confident' on what he have now, I didn't even saw him open the book to study or prepared for his exam.

One day, my dad try to encourage my brother to study hard and get flying papers in his S.P.M. so that my brother can get a good university or college.

"You better study hard now. If you study, then you will get good result in your S.P.M. You not study. Therefore you will not get good result in your S.P.M. Do you understand?"

My dad had use MODUS TOLLENS to persuade my brother to study hard. If he study hard then only he can get good result for his S.P.M.

My cousin currently work in the research department of company X. He is the one who prepared all the survey form.

His question as below:

(1) What is your name? (2) How old are you? (3) Branch location of company X you visit or call for service? (4) When you visit or call our company, how would you rate the attitude of our employees? (5) When you call our customer service personnel. How would you rate their product knowledge?

All the question above, he is using Interrogative Question. The question that he asked intended to solicit some information from his customers.

It helps me

Yesterday is national day, I had dated my secondary friends dinner together. I asked my mum whether I can go out or not because I had not been home for month.

Mum : "What time are you going out?"
Me :"Later."
Mum :"Where you want to go for your dinner?"
Me :"Restaurant."
Mum :"What time you will be back?"
Me :"After dinner."

I know that what I answer my mum is OVER GENERALITY. All my answers are very clear and understandable, but it could not be sufficiently specific where am I going, when I am going out and back home.

But, this is a technique to ask for out because if I clearly specific where and when and I can't make it on time; I will be grounded because late back home.

Sometimes, is good to have an OVER GENERALITY answer so that can avoid some punishment. Some more I can watch the fireworks, it is so beautiful...

Stop Blaming

Currently I am staying in Cyberia with my housemates, Ken and Taice. Both of them are brother and sister and they are quite nice person start from the day I know them.

The days come longer, I realizes that neither Ken or Taice, they like to keep all the dishes in the kitchen and not clean it up after they finish their food. As a housemate and one of the user of the house, I have no choice to help them clean up all the dishes.

Maybe I did a wrong decision on this. I should not help them. My housemate really though that I am the one who suppose to clean all this up. I feel super frustrated on this and I really stand it anymore. I decide to talk to my housemate and let them know how I feel.

Me:"Hey, can you guys clean up all the dishes after you eat? I don't want to wash it for you anymore."
Ken:"No, I am not the one who did not wash it. Is my sister."
Taice:"Huh? What? You are the one who did not clean up the dishes."
Me:"Stop blaming. Both of you make sure the kitchen is clean after you use it."

Both of my housemates are using Tuquoque. They attack each other who had make the same mistake as themselves - did not clean up the dishes.

So please clean it up and I am not your maid ok....

My Future

In my family, my aunt and my sisters also taking the professional accounting course - ACCA. I had took an accounting diploma before I study in Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Marketing with Multimedia in MMU.

One day, my parents' friend come and visit us. Her son are same age as me but he did not continue his studies and currently working as a hand phone dealer. She asked me am I still continue my studies and what am I studying now. I told her currently I am studying marketing course in MMU.

She feel shocked when she know that I am currently studying marketing. She ask me why don't I study ACCA or take any accounting degree since I had took an accounting diploma before? She said since almost almost all my family members are studying in accounting and they are all interested to be an accountant, why don't I follow their

I realize that she is using Ad Populum Appeal to Tradition. She believe that I should be an accountant which it is supposed to be consistent in my family.

I try to persuade her said that I do not like accounting and I will try some thing new when I am still young. So I choose to study marketing course in MMU. Hope that I did not make a wrong decision. Support me!

Before I study in MMU, I had join an UK examination board as an account and operations executive. My job is prepare the report of record all the exam fees and costs which will been spent in all the exam we organized.

Late exam registrar are always present. NO matter how many time we remind the candidates or the center, they sure have a lot of excuse to tell us that they can't hand up the register form and fees on time.

As an account and operations executive, I do have to sent my report to my boss. Therefore I have a dateline for the registrar and myself. When the dateline come, I do received many calls from candidates and center.

A :"Ms Tay, please help me to register please. I just late 1 day only. Please help me."
Me:"Sorry. The dateline is yesterday and I can't do anything on it."
A:"Please help me. You're so kind, helpful and graceful. Please help me to register please."
Me:"Thanks. But I really can't help on that. Maybe you can refer to our exam department."

Where are You?

During the mega sales period, my mum ask me go to Giant Hypermarket to buy daily goods. Maybe because of holidays and Mega sales, there were a lot people there and make me feel like a bit headache because need to 'fit' myself in this crowd.

Once we stepped into Giant, just like what I expected, the crowd is still remain. We found out there was no trolley in front of the entrance (normally there have a lot trolley will ready been use), we guess maybe we can find the trolley down stairs or in the car parks.

The distance from here to car parks is quite far from the entrance. Therefore, I ask my mum to wait me here and do not walk to far because is really hard to find her in the crowd; some more she do not have hand phone to contact.

About 15 minutes, I came back to the place that I ask her to wait with the trolley but I can't find her. Aiksss...where did she go? I try to look around and find out where she is. Suddenly I saw a lady's back - I know she is my mum with my feeling.

I walked forward to her and called her. Haha, really is my mum. How can I recognize my mum in the crowd of people?

Tacit Knowledge

My mum's face stored inside my mind and it accessible directly and usually with difficult. It is hard to be documented or explain in the word of mouth.

But of course, I don't want to try this again even I can recognize her when she in the crowd because it is hard to do so and I really feel tired on this.

Feel So Bad

This few weeks I am having my mid term test for all the subject that I have taken. I think is I did not study hard enough because all the test and quiz are killing me.

Weeks ago, I had just finish my mid term test of Critical Thinking. The questions is quite straight forward but I do not know what should I write. I just simply add something in which just don't want to leave it totally blank because my mind is blank when I saw the questions paper.

When I finish the test, my friend and I meet in front of the MPH hall to wait for the others come out. On the while we waiting, we start discussing the questions that we attend just now. We feel like this test is killing us. As far as we know, most of the senior complain this subject is hard to score.

I am using 'Simile' for the statement above. It is used for a special form of comparison where we compared the current subject, object or action to some other idea that creates an images.

I hope I can pass my critical thinking, that is all I hope...Please...pray for me...

New Ending of Snow White

What I learn for my tutorial section of Critical Thinking is Re-Writing the ending. Puan Aznur ask us to change the ending of the fairy tales, Snow White.

Our tutorial class divide into 4 groups and each group need to re-write the ending that Puan Aznur choose for us which is an even sadder ending, a funny ending, a science fiction ending and a "Malaysia" ending.

The ending that my group had choose is "an even sadder ending". Puan Aznur request us to be more creativity, she said the most creativity group can get 2 marks for class participate.

Snow White's story began as we know (haha...i found one more point for my critical thinking - implicit knowledge), i will change the ending when afetr the 7 drawfts put snow white into the glass coffin.

"A FUNNY ENDING/AN EVEN SADDER ENDING"

'Long long time ago, there was a ..................................., the 7 dwarfs instead build for her a glass coffin trimmed with gold in a clearing in the forest. The dwarfs and the woodland creatures keep watch over Snow White through the autumn, winter, and spring.

One day, the prince learns of her plight and visits her coffin. He came down from his horse and says:"Haiz, how can God treat me like this? I hate her and now she is dead. You see, she is really ugly..."

"Can I throw her from the top of the moutain. I just don't want her ugly face show to other. This might cause people night mare. Can I?" said the prince. "Actually we already plan to do so, just we do not have enough energy to carry her to the moutain. Haiz, she is so troublesome." said one of the drawfs.

"Haha, so you all agree to throw her from the top of the moutain? Good. Come on guys, faster bring her away... As far as you can. Please don't let me saw her face ever again. Once I saw her face, I feel want to vomit and headache. Once I find the place to throw her off, i will contact you all so that you all do not get near there. Is that alright?" said the price. "Thanks prince charming," said the 7 drawfs.

Snow white had been throw down from the moutain and none had seen her ever and ever again."
This ending can be called as "a funny ending" or "an even sadder ending". Just depends on how you feel this story and imagine the story goes...hope you guys sastified on it...

Permatang Pauh

Yesterday was the election commission of Permatang Pauh. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has won about 15671 votes from the residents of Permatang Pauh.

“People want change for freedom and justice. They want the economy to benefit all. They have rejected oppression and they are saying they do not want to be taken for granted any longer.” Anwar said while addressing supporters after being declared winner of the parliamentary by-election yesterday.

The statement above had use indeductive reasoning because all the votes is just from the specific area, Permatang Pauh. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim make a very specific information for the votes of Permatang Pauh and make a very general statement which is all the Malaysian want change for freedom, justice and also the economy to benefits all.

Nothing else but only assignment

Assignment said to me: "I will always be with you all the while when in this university, i will never leave you even one single moment..."

Haiz...i thought once i finish my management group assignment in this week, as least i can have 3 days break for run away from rushing to hand up assignment and presentation...

Who knows...my 'dearest' and 'lovely' lecturer - Puan Aznur (actually she is, but at this moment i feel she is cruel and mean to me...)

The day I am gonna finish my assignment and might have a little time to rest, the same day she uploaded the critical thinking individual assignment...Alh....give me a break please...
